United States Women's National Cricket Team
The United States women's cricket team is the women's national cricket team that represents the United States. They have never been to the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup; at the 2011 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier, the team finished fourth in its group with only one win. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between the United States women and another international side after July 1, 2018 will be a full WT20I. In March 2019, Julia Price was appointed as the head coach of the team. Price had previously played international cricket for the Australian women's cricket team. Price stepped down from the role in May 2022, and was succeeded by Shivnarine Chanderpaul in July 2022 as women's senior and U-19 coach. USA Cricket (USAC) is the governing body of cricket in the United States. 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup
The 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup is scheduled to be the eighth edition of ICC Women's T20 World Cup tournament. It is scheduled to be held in South Africa, from 10 to 26 February 2023. Australia are the defending champions. In November 2020, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced that the tournament had been moved from its original slot at the end of 2022 to February 2023 due to the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium
The Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium ( ar, ملعب زايد للكريكت) is a cricket ground located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The stadium cost $23 million to build and was opened in May 2004, with its inaugural first-class match being an Intercontinental Cup fixture between Scotland and Kenya in November of that year. The stadium was one of the dedicated venues for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The stadium has a large stand at either end, with the areas square of the wicket offering grass banks for additional seating. It can hold 20,000 people. Bangladesh Women's National Cricket Team
The Bangladesh women's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Bangladesh in international women's cricket matches. They made their international debut when they played, and won, two matches against Thailand in July 2007 before participating in and winning the 2007 ACC Women's Tournament. Bangladesh were granted One-Day International (ODI) status in 2011 after finishing fifth in the 2011 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier. They subsequently qualified for the 2014 ICC Women's World Twenty20, making their first appearance at a top-level women's international tournament. In cricket, a batter is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batter is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. The United Arab Emirates women's national cricket team represents United Arab Emirates in international women's cricket and is organised by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB). The 2019 ICC Women's Qualifier Americas was a cricket tournament that was held in the United States in May 2019. The matches in the tournament were played as Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), with the top team progressing to both the 2019 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier and the 2021 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournaments. The 2022 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier is an international women's cricket tournament that is scheduled to be held in 2022. The 2021 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier was an international women's cricket tournament that was held in Zimbabwe in November and December 2021.
