United Arab Emirates National Beach Soccer Team
The United Arab Emirates national beach soccer team represents United Arab Emirates in beach soccer. They are one of the most successful Asian national teams, having won twice the AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup (2007, 2008). At the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, however, they have never got past the Group Stage. The UAE team has participated in every edition of the Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup, which was founded after the 2009 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was hosted in the United Arab Emirates and which is played only in the UAE,They will host it once again as for the second time in 2023. The 2005 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was the first edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, an international beach soccer competition contest by men's national teams and organized by FIFA. The AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup is the main championship for beach soccer in Asia, contested between the senior men's national teams of the members of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup 2022 was the 11th edition of the ''Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup'', an annual international beach soccer tournament contested by men's national teams. This year's event occurred between 1 and 6 November 2022 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tournament is organised by the Dubai Sports Council (DSC) and Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW). The Intercontinental Cup is typically seen as the biggest tournament in the current international beach soccer calendar after the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.
