Union Terminology
''Union Terminology'' is the fourth studio album by underground rapper and Army of the Pharaohs member King Syze. Just like his previous album, ''Collective Bargaining'', the album is produced entirely by Skammadix. Background The album incorporates a diverse array of topics such as daily struggles, and working as a trade union member. The album is officially going to be released on March 25, 2014 and will be available for free for the first 1000 downloads. The album will be available on CD too. On 28 February 2014, Syze released the first single off the album titled; ''"Due Process''". A music video was released the same day. The album contains guest appearances from Planetary, Reef the Lost Cauze & Lawrence Arnell Lawrence Arnell is an American rapper and producer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. King Syze
David Albaladejo (better known by his stage name King Syze) is an underground rapper from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania of Puerto Rican descent. He is a member of the underground hip hop supergroup Army of the Pharaohs (AOTP), having featured on all their studio albums. He is known for his frequent collaboration with AOTP members; OuterSpace. Outside of rap, Albaladejo works as a member of a trade union which has inspired the names of many of his studio albums. Many have likened the witty aggressive flow and opposing mic presence of King Syze to that of Big Pun. Hardcore Hip Hop
Hardcore hip hop (also hardcore rap) is a genre of hip hop music that developed through the East Coast hip hop scene in the 1980s. Pioneered by such artists as Run-DMC, Schoolly D, Boogie Down Productions and Public Enemy, it is generally characterized by anger, aggression and confrontation. Rapper
Rapping (also rhyming, spitting, emceeing or MCing) is a musical form of vocal delivery that incorporates "rhyme, rhythmic speech, and street vernacular". AOTP logo ''(as seen on In Death Reborn)'' Army of the Pharaohs (most commonly abbreviated as AOTP or A.O.T.P.) is an American underground hip hop collective originating from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed by Jedi Mind Tricks founder Vinnie Paz in 1998. The collective has strong links to other underground east coast groups such as Outerspace, Snowgoons, La Coka Nostra, Demigodz, 7L & Esoteric, and JuJu Mob. AOTP's affiliations and member roster has changed several times since its formation. Paz formed the outfit in the late 1990s with the original roster of Bahamadia, Chief Kamachi, Virtuoso, 7L & Esoteric, plus Jedi Mind Tricks' other member Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind. Planetary (rapper)
Mario Collazo (born August 8, 1978), better known by his stage name Planetary, is an American underground rapper from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is one half of the rap duo OuterSpace and a member of Army of the Pharaohs. Biography Early career (1995-1999) Planetary started rapping with high school friends Marcus Albaladejo and Richard Cruz. The trio later went on to form the group OuterSpace. The group originally started to form in the early 90s and eventually lead to an alliance with fellow Philadelphians Jedi Mind Tricks and their label Superegular Recordings. In 1998, Superegular released their debut single "We Lyve" which was met with critical praise for its complex, scientific rhymes and ethereal, seemingly other-worldly beats. Reef The Lost Cauze
Sharif Talib Lacey, better known by his stage name Reef the Lost Cauze, is an underground hip hop artist based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Cauze became well known on the underground circuit towards the late 1990s and more so in the early 2000s, making his mark by winning many battle competitions within New York and interstate and displaying rare skills of what many called true MCing. Releasing ''The High Life'' album in 2001, Cauze moved on by teaming up with his past partners and friends and released ''The Invisible Empire'' in 2003 to much critical acclaim and thus establishing his name amongst many circles and true hip hop heads, as well as the underground. Lawrence Arnell
Lawrence Arnell is an American rapper and producer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He first collaborated with hip hop group Jedi Mind Tricks on ''Violent by Design'' under the name Diamondback in 2000. In 2014, Arnell joined Army of the Pharaohs and appeared on their studio albums ''In Death Reborn'' and '' Heavy Lies the Crown''. Biography 1995–2006: Early career Arnell started off his career as an MC/singer/songwriter. At 19 years old, he caught the eye of Tommy Boy Records as a member of the hip-hop collective Deadly Snakes. With dates on the Lyricist Lounge Tour, placements on the soundtrack to Jet Li's ''Black Mask'' film (1996) and a co-sign from Prince Paul, the Snakes seemed to be on the right track.
