''Undercut'' is a 2004 martial arts film written and directed by Stephen Reedy. Synopsis American Ninja Eric loses his job as a state employed peace officer when his job is outsourced to cheaper, cost effective Chinese labor. As if dealing with the hardships of unemployment weren't stressful enough, Ninja Dog is sick and needs expensive medicine. Release Undercut was released online via The Stunt People sometime in 2004. It has also been screened at WonderCon the San Diego Comic-Con and at The Metreon. Awards In 2006, Undercut was nominated for the mtvU Student Filmmaker Award in the 2006 MTV Movie Awards. The 2006 MTV Movie Awards were held on Saturday, June 3, 2006, and were hosted by Jessica Alba, with it being broadcast on June 8 on tape delay. MTVU (formerly stylized as MtvU and mtvU) is an American digital cable TV channel owned by the MTV Entertainment Group, a unit of the Paramount Media Networks division of Paramount Global. Metreon
The Metreon is a shopping center located in downtown San Francisco, California, United States at the corner of 4th Street and Mission Street. It is a four-story building built over the corner of the underground Moscone Center convention center. Metreon opened on June 16, 1999, as the first of a proposed chain of Sony "urban entertainment centers", aggregating dining, games, music, exhibitions, shopping, and movies. Sony intended the ambitious (equivalent to $ in ) project to be a theme park and gallery for Sony products, and to reinforce a sophisticated image for the Sony brand.
