Undercover Angels
''Undercover Angels'' was a 2002 Australian reality show television series produced by the Seven Network which imitated the American '' Charlie's Angels'' series. It featured champion swimmer Ian Thorpe, who acted as the mentor to three women ( Jackie O, Katie Underwood and Simone Kessell) who performed good deeds for people in need. The show premiered on 12 May 2002, and it was the fifth most watched television show in that week in Australia. Overall, it averaged 1.3 million viewers in its run of eleven episodes. The three "angels" travelled in Alfa Romeos and performed deeds such as decorating a nursery for a young couple with newborn children, and finding a replacement puppy for children whose dog had been stolen. Ian Thorpe
Ian James Thorpe, (born 13 October 1982) is an Australian retired swimmer who specialised in freestyle, but also competed in backstroke and the individual medley. He has won five Olympic gold medals, the most won by any Australian along with fellow swimmer Emma McKeon. With three gold and two silver medals, Thorpe was the most successful athlete at the 2000 Summer Olympics, held in his hometown of Sydney. Jacqueline Ellen Last (born 31 January 1975), better known as Jackie O, is an Australian radio hostess and television presenter. Katie Underwood (born 23 December 1975) is an Australian singer-songwriter and meditation teacher. She is best known for being a member of Bardot, winners of the first Australian series of ''Popstars'' in 2000.
