Under 17 Bayernliga
The Under 17 Bayernliga (German: ''B-Jugend Bayernliga'') is the second tier of under 17 youth football in Bavaria, set below the '' Under 17 Bundesliga South/Southwest''. Until 2000, the league was the highest tier of under 17 football, containing the youth teams of such clubs as FC Bayern Munich, TSV 1860 Munich and 1. FC Nürnberg. History Pre-Bayernliga era A Bavarian champions for under 17 sides was incepted in 1975, alongside the Bavarian Under 15 championship. It was played as an on-off final. Bayernliga era The ''Bayernliga'' was established in 1988, operating as two regional divisions, a northern and a southern one, the ''B-Jugend Bayernliga Nord'' and the ''B-Jugend Bayernliga Süd''. The winner of each division would then advance to the Bavarian championship final, an on-off game. The winner of this game, the Bavarian champions, then advanced to the German under 17 championship. SpVgg Unterhaching II
The SpVgg Unterhaching II was the reserve team of German football club SpVgg Unterhaching, from the Unterhaching suburb of the city of Munich, Bavaria. At times, the team played under the name of SpVgg Unterhaching Amateure but since 2005, it carries its current name. The team's greatest success has been a single season in the tier four Regionalliga Süd in 2008–09. Since then it has been playing in the Bayernliga until being disbanded at the end of the 2014–15 season. SpVgg Bayern Hof is a German association football club based in Hof, Bavaria. The club was founded on 1 June 1910 as ''Ballspielclub Hof'', but within a year was renamed ''Britannia Hof''. In 1913, they merged with ''FC Roland Hof'' and ''FC Phoenix Hof'' to become ''FC Bayern Hof''. History ''FC Bayern Hof'' was a decent, but unremarkable, local side through its early decades. It spent five seasons in the tier-one ''Bezirksliga Bayern'' from 1927. In 1944, the team won promotion to the ''Gauliga Bayern'', Staffel Oberfranken, one of sixteen top flight division that had been created in 1933 in the re-organization of German football under the Third Reich. FC Memmingen is a German association football club based in Memmingen, Bavaria. History The team was formed on 30 May 1907 as the football department of the gymnastics club ''Memminger Turnvereins 1859'' and became independent in the fall of that year. The FC Ingolstadt 04 II is a German association football club from the city of Ingolstadt, Bavaria. It is the reserve team of FC Ingolstadt. History FC Ingolstadt 04 was formed in 2004 through a merger of two local rivals, MTV Ingolstadt and ESV Ingolstadt, with the former playing in the Landesliga Bayern-Süd while the later played in the Bezirksoberliga Oberbayern at the time. The first team took ''MTV's'' place, having just been promoted to the Bayernliga, while the new reserve side took up ''ESV's'' place in the Bezirksoberliga. FC Augsburg II is the reserve team of the German association football club FC Augsburg from the city of Augsburg, Bavaria, whose first team play in the Bundesliga. The team, which has never played above the fourth tier, had its greatest success in 1977, when it won the local Schwaben Cup, qualified for the German Cup and reached the third round of the competition, going out to Hertha BSC Berlin.
