Uncommon Good
''Uncommon Good'' is the debut studio album from Canadian electro music, electro-soul band Busty and the Bass. It was released on September 8, 2017, by Indica Records. The album's title comes from the band's relationship with their fans, and how music "has a beautiful ability to bring people together and raise their spirits regardless of what else is going on either with them personally or in the world". Singles The album's lead single "Up Top" was released on January 19, 2017. Its second single, "Memories and Melodies", came out on April 5, 2017. The final two singles, "Common Ground" and "Closer" were made available on June 30, 2017 and August 25, 2017, respectively. Production Busty and the Bass spent nearly two years writing and recording the album. Busty And The Bass
Busty and the Bass is a Canadian electro-soul and hip hop band from Montreal, Quebec. The band is known for its unique brand of music, which incorporates two vocalists, a horn section, and a diverse range of musical genres. Having met while attending college at McGill University, seven of the nine founding members are still with the band: Evan Crofton a.k.a. Alistair Blu (vocals, keyboards, synths), Scott Bevins (trumpet), Chris Vincent (trombone), Louis Stein (guitar), Milo Johnson (bass), Eric Haynes (keyboards, piano) and Julian Trivers (drums). Neal H Pogue is an American producer, audio engineer and mixer originally from Roselle, New Jersey, and based in Los Angeles. Pogue is a multi-time Grammy Award winner, having first won for his engineering and mixing work on Outkast's ''Speakerboxxx/The Love Below'' (2004) – which won the Album of the Year category, and his audio mixing work on Tyler, The Creator's Igor & Call Me If You Get Lost – which both records won the Best Rap Album category respectively in 2020 & 2022. Background ''Eddie'' is the band's first release on Arts & Crafts, the Canadian record label home to notable acts such as Broken Social Scene, Japandroids, and BADBADNOTGOOD.
