Uncle Jed
Uncle Jed is an Australian funk, reggae and jazz band. Formed in 2005 among family members, the lineup was Danny Stitt on bass and lead guitars, his brother, Shannon Stitt on keyboards and their cousin, Laura Stitt on lead vocals. In November 2013 the trio won the seventh season of the TV reality show, ''Australia's Got Talent''. A self-titled album was issued in May 2010. Three of Uncle Jed's singles are cover versions, "Brother" (August 2013), " Give Me Love" (October) and "Just Give Me a Reason" (November), and all peaked in the ARIA Singles Chart top 50. The group briefly changed the band name to Luna Grand in May 2015 and released an extended play, ''Patience Love'', in June. MGM Distribution (Metropolitan Groove Merchants) is the largest independent distributor of Australian music and music related merchandise and was established in April 1998 by Sebastian Chase. MGM Distribution was specifically set up as a distribution hub to service independent labels and artists. MGM Distribution is totally focused on a specific agenda - dealing with retail, promoting its releases to retail, ensuring that orders are filled correctly and dispatched expediently. Matt Corby
Matthew John Corby (born 7 November 1990) is an Australian singer-songwriter. He achieved his commercial breakthrough with his fourth EP, ''Into the Flame'' (2011), which peaked at No. 3 on the ARIA Singles Chart, and by April 2012, was certified 6× Platinum by ARIA. Fletcher Pilon (born 6 April 2001) is an Australian acoustic singer and songwriter, known for winning the eighth season of '' Australia's Got Talent'' in March 2016. ''Australia's Got Talent'' is an Australian reality television talent show. The show is based on the ''Got Talent'' series format that originated in the United Kingdom with Simon Cowell. The first six seasons aired on the Seven Network, from 2007 to 2012. In the first season the judges were Tom Burlinson, Red Symons and Dannii Minogue. The first season aired at 6:30pm on Sunday nights. After a successful run, the series was given a vote of confidence as Seven moved the show to a more competitive Tuesday night timeslot. The second season aired from 29 April 2008. Burlinson and Symons did not return for season four and were replaced by Kyle Sandilands and Brian McFadden. For season seven in 2013 the show moved to the Nine Network. Dawn French, Geri Halliwell and Timomatic who is the additional fourth judge joined the panel as replacements for McFadden and Minogue. Andrew Conrad De Silva (born 23 November 1974) is an Australian R&B and Rock music singer. He was a member of the band CDB from 1993 to 1998, when he left to undergo treatment for cancer. '' Australia's Got Talent'' is an Australian reality television show, based on the original UK series, to find new talent. The seventh season aired on the Nine Network from 11 August 2013 until 10 November 2013. Kyle Sandilands returned as a judge for his fourth season, and was joined by Dawn French, Timomatic and Geri Halliwell, as well as Julia Morris as the new host.
