The 1994 version of the Legion of Super-Heroes (also called the Post-Zero Hour or Reboot Legion) is a fictional superhero team in the 31st century of the DC Universe. The team is the second incarnation of the Legion of Super-Heroes, following after the Legion of Super-Heroes (1958 team), 1958 version, and was followed by the Legion of Super-Heroes (2004 team), 2004 Reboot (fiction), rebooted version. It first appeared in ''Legion of Super-Heroes'' (vol. 4) #0 (October 1994) and was created by Mark Waid, Tom McCraw and Stuart Immonen. Publication history Following ''Zero Hour: Crisis in Time, Zero Hour'', a new Legion continuity was created, beginning with a retelling of the origin story starting in ''Legion of Super-Heroes'' (vol. 4) #0 and then continued in spin-off sister series ''Legionnaires'' #0 (both released in October 1994). Phil Jimenez (born July 12, 1970) is an award-winning American comics artist and writer known for his work as writer/artist on ''Wonder Woman'' from 2000 to 2003, as one of the five pencilers of the 2005–2006 miniseries ''Infinite Crisis'', his collaborations with writer Grant Morrison on '' New X-Men'' and ''The Invisibles,'' and his artistry for his 2021 critically acclaimed partnership with writer Kelly Sue DeConnick on '' Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons''. The team is the third incarnation of the Legion of Super-Heroes after the Legion of Super-Heroes (1958 team), 1958 and Legion of Super-Heroes (1994 team), 1994 versions. It first appears in ''Teen Titans/Legion Special'' (November 2004) and was created by Mark Waid and Barry Kitson. Alexander Joseph "Lex" Luthor () is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Lex Luthor originally appeared in ''Action Comics'' #23 (cover dated: April 1940). He has since endured as the archnemesis of the superhero Superman. Lex Luthor was originally depicted as a narcissistic and egotistical mad scientist from the 1960s to the early 1980s. Superboy (Kon-El)
Superboy (also known as Kon-El or Conner Kent) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. A modern variation on the original Superboy, the character first appeared as Superboy in '' The Adventures of Superman'' #500 (June 1993), and was created by writer Karl Kesel and artist Tom Grummett. From the character's debut in 1993 to August 2003, Superboy was depicted as a genetically-engineered metahuman clone of human origin designed by Project Cadmus as a duplicate and closest genetic equivalent of Superman.
