Catalina Margarita López Ramos (; June 21, 1924 – July 4, 2005), known professionally as Marga López, was an Argentine-born Mexican actress. Biography Born Catalina Margarita López Ramos in June 21st, 1924 in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina. Even though she was born in Argentina, she later acquired Mexican citizenship. Her parents were Pedro López Sánchez and Dolores Ramos Nava. She had six siblings: Juan, Miguel, Dolores, Pedro, María and Manuel. She debuted in show business in her home country as a child, with her siblings, in the group known as Los Hermanitos López. In 1936, the group journeyed through Latin America including Mexico. Prudencia María Victoria Grifell Masip (27 December 1879 – 7 June 1970) was a Spanish-Mexican actress and comedian. Biography Early life Grifell was born to Spanish stage actors and started her acting career herself at the age of ten in theater in Venezuela and touring Spain and Latin America. By the 1900s she had become very popular and moved to Mexico to continue her career in stage, after the Spanish Civil War she decided not to go back to that country but instead to relocate in Mexico permanently after 1940. Ernesto Alonso (February 28, 1917 – August 7, 2007) was a Mexican producer, director, cinematographer and actor. He was nicknamed "''El Señor Telenovela''" ("Mr. Soap Opera") because most of his work centered on telenovelas known around the world. Acting career Ernesto began his career as an uncredited extra in '' La Zandunga'' (1938), a movie starring Lupe Vélez. He then appeared in 1939's "Papacito Lindo". His popularity grew as he starred in many films of the 1940s, including "La Gallina Culeca", "Historia de una gran Amor", "El Padre Morelas", "El Jorobado", "La Corte del Faraon", "Marina", "El Gallero", and "El Precio de la Gloria" in which he starred with his brother Alfonso Ramírez Alonso. Leonor Llausás Tostado (August 3, 1929 - February 13, 2003) was a Mexican television and film actress who appeared in over 100 works of film and television. She was nominated multiple times for the Ariel Awards and won a Best Actress award in 1955 from the film Los Fernandez we peralvillo, in 1975 won Diosa de Plata (Silver Goddess Award) for Las poquianchis.
