Umida Abdullaeva
Umida Abdullaeva (born 12 July 1997) is an Uzbekistani taekwondo practitioner. She won the silver medal in the women's 62kg event at the 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games held in Baku, Azerbaijan. Abdullaeva won the silver medal in the girls' +63kg event at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics held in Nanjing, China. In the same year, she also represented Uzbekistan at the 2014 Asian Games in the women's 73kg event. In this competition, she won her first match against Feruza Yergeshova of Kazakhstan and she was eliminated in her next match by Sorn Seavmey of Cambodia. Islamic Solidarity Games
The Islamic Solidarity Games ( ar, ألعاب التضامن الإسلامي) is a multinational, multi-sport event. The Games involve the elite athletes of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation who compete in a variety of sports. The Solidarity Games were initially created to strengthen Islamic camaraderie and reinforce the values of Islam, primarily to the youth. The Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) and the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is the organization that is responsible for the direction and control of the Islamic Solidarity Games. The ISSF strives to improve Islamic solidarity, promote Islamic identity in sports and help reduce discrimination toward Muslims. Sorn Seavmey
Sorn Seavmey ( km, ស៊ន សៀវម៉ី; born 14 September 1995) is a Cambodian taekwondo practitioner and gold medalist in the women’s under-73 kg event at 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea. She was also a 2013 SEA Games gold medalist in Myanmar and the 2017 SEA Games in Malaysia. In 2014, she won Cambodia's first gold medal at the Asian Games since its participation in 1954. At the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, Seavmey defeated her first-round opponent from Uzbekistan 29-7, then defeated her Filipino opponent in the semi-final 6-5. In the final round, she defeated her opponent from Iran 7-4, becoming the first Cambodian to win an Asian Games medal. The 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games ( tk, Ýapyk binalarda we söweş sungaty boýunça V Aziýa oýunlary/Япык биналарда ве сөвеш сунгаты боюнча V Азия оюнлары), which is also counted as the 5th Asian Indoor Games, was held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan in 2017.
