Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya
''Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya'' () also known by the initialism ''UMUR'', is a 2020 Indian Telugu-language comedy drama film directed by Venkatesh Maha, and produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, Prasad Devineni and Vijaya Praveena Paruchuri for their respective banners Arka Media Works and Manayana Motion Pictures. The film stars Satyadev Kancharana as Uma Maheswara Rao, alongside Naresh, Suhas, Raghavan, Hari Chandana and Roopa Koduvayur. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film '' Maheshinte Prathikaaram'' (2016), which itself based on a true incident in the life of Thampan Purushan from Thuravoor, Cherthala. It follows Uma Maheswara Rao, a photographer, who attempts to defuse a conflict between his friend and a group of youngsters passing through their village, and is knocked to the ground. Venkatesh Maha
Venkatesh Maha is an Indian film director, screenwriter and actor who works in Telugu cinema. He's known for directing films such as '' C/o Kancharapalem'' (2018) and ''Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya'' (2020). Career Maha left his house at the age of sixteen and worked at various jobs. He worked as a spot boy for the film ''Teen Maar'' (2011) before he made his acting debut with '' Aakasame Haddu'' that same year.
