Ultra Warrior
''Ultra Warrior'', also known as ''Welcome to Oblivion'', is a post-apocalyptic 1990 film directed by Augusto Tamayo San Román and Kevin Tent. Set in a futuristic dystopia, a nuclear holocaust creates mutants who inhabit the radioactive areas. One man emerges as the leader of a group of survivors called "Muties". The main character, portrayed by Dack Rambo, is looking for zirconium which is used to make bombs to prevent aliens from destroying Earth. This B list film is notable for its excessive use of stock footage and its poor quality. Some footage comes from other New Horizons films such as ''Lords of the Deep'', ''Crime Zone'', ''Battletruck'', ''Battle Beyond the Stars'', ''Wheels of Fire'' and ''Dune Warriors''. Kevin Tent is an American film editor and director. Tent has been elected to membership in the American Cinema Editors (ACE) and serves as a member of the board. Kevin Tent is best known for being Alexander Payne's go-to film editor on films such as ''Nebraska'', ''The Descendants'', ''Sideways'', and ''Election''. Tent has been nominated for an Academy Award for best editing for ''The Descendants'' and won an ACE Eddie award for the same film and received three other ACE Eddie Award nominations for ''Election'', ''Sideways'' and ''About Schmidt''. Red Letter Media, LLC is an American film and video production company operated by independent filmmakers Mike Stoklasa (formerly of GMP Pictures) and Jay Bauman (formerly of Blanc Screen Cinema). It was formed by Stoklasa in 2004 while he was living in Scottsdale, Arizona, but is currently based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It attracted significant attention in 2009 through Stoklasa's 70-minute video review of the 1999 film '' Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace''. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang. Although the name "Rotten Tomatoes" connects to the practice of audiences throwing rotten tomatoes in disapproval of a poor stage performance, the original inspiration comes from a scene featuring tomatoes in the Canadian film ''Léolo'' (1992). Since January 2010, Rotten Tomatoes has been owned by Flixster, which was in turn acquired by Warner Bros in 2011.
