Ulpio Minucci
Ulpio Minucci (June 29, 1917 – March 9, 2007) was an Italian-born American composer and musician. Minucci wrote a number of popular hits in the 1950s, including " Domani," "A Thousand Thoughts of You," and "Felicia." He was nominated for two Emmy Awards for his work on ABC's ''Saga of Western Man'' in 1964 and 1965. He is also well known among anime fans as the composer of the theme and musical score for the 1985 animated television series ''Robotech''. He also played piano on '' Round Trip'', a 1974 jazz album by Japanese saxophonist Sadao Watanabe. In Jan 10, 1989, he attempted to sue Frank Agrama and Harmony Gold, Inc. for alleged copyright infringement and various other claims. The case was dismissed March 1, 1989, without motion to appeal. Minucci married his wife Catherine in 1952 with whom he had a son, Chieli, and a daughter, Nina. Domani
"Domani" (Italian for "tomorrow") is a 1955 song written by Ulpio Minucci with lyrics by Tony Velona. The melody is based on the intermezzo from the comic opera I Quattro Rusteghi by Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari. The most popular version of the song was recorded in 1955 by Julius LaRosa, released by Cadence Records as catalog number 1265. It first reached the Billboard magazine charts on July 13, 1955 and lasted 7 weeks on the chart, peaking at #13. The song was rendered in French - retaining the title "Domani" - by Renée Lebas; a Finnish rendering: "Huomenna", was recorded by Maynie Sirén. Another song of the same name was released by the Twilight Singers on the "Black Is the Color of My True Love's Hair" EP and on Greg Dulli's 2005 album ''Amber Headlights''. The Sentinels
The Sentinels are two 90 metre tall residential tower blocks on Holloway Head in Birmingham, England. The two towers, called Clydesdale Tower and Cleveland Tower, are both 31 storeys tall and were part of a major regeneration and council home building scheme following World War II which in the 1960s and 1970s saw the construction of hundreds of tower blocks. Originally built and operated by the City of Birmingham, the buildings were part of a stock transfer from Birmingham local authority to Optima Community Association in 1999, and today the buildings are owned by Citizen housing association (itself an amalgamation of several West Midlands housing associations). The Sentinels were the tallest purely residential tower blocks in the city until the completion of the 102 metre tall skyscraper Bank Tower 2 in 2019. ''The Day That Shook the World'' ( sh, Sarajevski atentat, lit. ''The Sarajevo Assassination'') is a 1975 Czechoslovak-Yugoslav-German co-production film directed by Veljko Bulajić, starring Christopher Plummer and Florinda Bolkan. The film is about the Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg, Sophie in Sarajevo in 1914 and the immediate aftermath that led to the outbreak of World War I. When the only surviving heir to Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria, Franz Joseph of Austria-Hungary, Archduke Franz Ferdinand, was killed by Gavrilo Princip, a Serbian nationalism, Serbian nationalist, on 28 June 1914, his death set in motion a chain of events that resulted in the First World War.
