Ulises Fariñas
Ulises Alfonso Fariñas (born December 29, 1985, in Elizabeth, New Jersey) is a Cuban-American comic book writer and artist. Education While attending New York's School of Visual Arts, Fariñas studied under Nick Bertozzi, who invited him to join the web comics collective Act-i-vate. Career Ulises Fariñas is the co-creator (along with writer Erick Freitas) of ''GAMMA'', ''Motro'', and ''Amazing Forest''. He has worked as an artist on ''Catalyst Comix'', and ''Transformers: Heart of Darkness''. IDW Comics hired Fariñas for art duties on ''Judge Dredd: Mega-City Two'' in 2014. He followed up that series in 2016 with ''Judge Dredd: Mega-City Zero'', which he wrote. In 2016, Fariñas and Storme Smith launched Buño, a publishing imprint at Magnetic Press. Ryan Hill
Ryan Hill (born January 31, 1990) is an American long-distance runner. Hill was a silver medalist at the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships after finishing second in the 3,000 meters. He represented the United States at the 2009 IAAF World Cross Country Championships – Junior men's race 52nd place, 2013 World Championships in Athletics and the 2015 World Championships in Athletics, where he ran the 5000 meters at both finishing 7th and 5th, respectively. Hill competed for North Carolina State University and was sponsored by Nike immediately after college where he was coached by Jerry Schumacher in the Bowerman Track Club. Andy Lanning
Andy Lanning is an English comic book writer and inker, known for his work for Marvel Comics and DC Comics, and for his collaboration with Dan Abnett. Career Lanning works primarily at Marvel Comics and DC Comics as an inker. He has also pencilled books, such as his creation ''The Sleeze Brothers''. Lanning's writing has included his and Abnett's 2000 relaunch of DC's title ''Legion of Super-Heroes''. The two co-created the Resurrection Man character with artist Jackson Guice in 1997. Lanning and Abnett also collaborated on an ongoing ''Nova'' series for Marvel, which premiered in 2007. The duo previously authored a ''Nova'' miniseries as a tie-in for the Marvel crossover Annihilation, starring Richard Rider, now the only member of the Xandarian Nova Corps. Dan Abnett (born 12 October 1965) is an English comic book writer and novelist. He has been a frequent collaborator with fellow writer Andy Lanning, and is known for his work on books for both Marvel Comics, and their UK imprint, Marvel UK, since the 1990s, and also ''2000 AD (comics), 2000 AD''. He has also contributed to DC Comics titles, and his ''Warhammer Fantasy (setting), Warhammer Fantasy'' and ''Warhammer 40,000'' novels and graphic novels for Games Workshop's Black Library now run to several dozen titles and have sold over two million copies. Dan McDaid () is a British comic book writer and artist. Career McDaid made his debut in '' Doctor Who Magazine'', after sending a sample strip to then editor Clayton Hickman. His debut work for DWM was as writer of ''The First'', a story where the Doctor meets Ernest Shackleton. He took part in Comic Book Resources' Comic Book Idol 2007, reaching the final three. He then teamed up with Glen Brunswick for a twelve-issue run on ''Jersey Gods'' for Image Comics. Douglas Wolk (born 1970) is a Portland, Oregon-based author and critic.
