''The Closed Circuit'' ( pl, Układ zamknięty) is a 2013 Polish action film directed by Ryszard Bugajski. History The writers of ''The Closed Circuit'', Michał Pruski and Mirosław Piepka, were inspired by the true story of businessmen struggling with the accusations made by the prosecutor's office and the tax office. Some of them ended up in mining arrest, and their company was brought to collapse. One of the cases against them was discontinued years later due to the lack of any signs of a crime, and entrepreneurs received 10,000 zlotys in compensation, while in the second, the court issued an invalid conviction at the end of 2013. Some of the accused were acquitted, and some pleaded guilty and voluntarily submitted to the punishment. Ryszard Bugajski
Ryszard Bugajski (27 April 1943 – 7 June 2019) was a Polish film director and screenwriter. He directed 23 films and television shows since 1972. His 1982 film ''Interrogation'' starring Krystyna Janda and Adam Ferency, described as "the most anti-Communist film in the history of Polish People's Republic" was entered into the 1990 Cannes Film Festival after being suppressed by the Polish communist authorities for several years. Life and career He was born on 27 April 1943 in German-occupied Poland. His father was Edward Bugajski, a member of the pre-war Polish Socialist Party (PPS). He studied philosophy at the University of Warsaw and directing at the National Film School in Łódź, which he graduated from in 1973. Janusz Gajos
Janusz Gajos (; born 23 September 1939) is a Polish film, television and theatre actor as well as pedagogue and photographer. Professor of Theatre Arts and an Honorary Doctor of the National Film School in Łódź, he is considered one of the greatest Polish actors. Life and career He was born in Dąbrowa Górnicza. At the age of 11, he moved to Będzin where in 1957, he graduated from the High School No 3. In 1965 he graduated from the National Film School in Łódź as one of its best students despite having been rejected during entrance exams three times. He debuted while he was still in film school in children's film ''Panienka z okienka'' directed by Maria Kaniewska in 1964.
