Ukrainian Football Amateur League
Ukrainian Amateur Football Championship ( uk, Чемпіонат України з футболу серед аматорів) is an annual association football competition in Ukraine among amateur teams. The competition is administered by the Ukrainian Association of Amateur Football (AAFU). The championship replaced the Soviet competitions among collectives of physical culture (KFK). Competition organization Current format Majority participating teams that compete in the Ukrainian Amateur football competition also compete in their regional (oblast) football championships. There are no requirements or restrictions on amount of representation from each region and is on voluntary (and/or invitational) basis. There is no relegation. The pool of teams, competition organization, and season regulations are reviewed on annual basis. The Association of Amateur Football of Ukraine ( uk, Асоціація аматорського футболу України, AAFU) is a sports organization that administers national competitions of association football among amateur and children teams. AAFU is a collective member of the Football Federation of Ukraine. It was established 2 March 1998 and under the association agreement between the Football Federation of Ukraine and the Association, it is authorized to organize the All-Ukrainian National Football Championship and Cup tournaments amongst amateur football teams. The football championship is considered the fourth level of national competition and is the premier competitions for amateur clubs (professionally non-licensed). Svitlovodsk () is a city in central Ukraine located on the Dnieper River in Oleksandriia Raion, Kirovohrad Oblast. FC Start Chuhuiv
FC Start Chuhuiv, is a football team based in Chuhuiv, Ukraine. History The club appeared sometime in 1954 and in the short period of time became the most titled football team in Kharkiv Oblast winning its regional championship 9 times. Later the record was superseded only by two other clubs both from Kupyansk Kupiansk ( uk, Куп'янськ, ) is a city in Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine. It serves as the administrative center of Kupiansk Raion. FC Torpedo Mykolaiv is an amateur club from Mykolaiv competing at the regional competitions of Mykolaiv Oblast. The club plays its game at a stadium of Zorya-Mashproekt Factory. Overview The club was founded in 1955 by the Zorya-Mashproekt Factory as Avanhard Mykolaiv. In 1957 it changed its name to Torpedo Mykolaiv. Sometime in the 1980s the club ceased its operations. FC Enerhiya Nova Kakhovka
Enerhiya Nova Kakhovka was a Ukrainian professional football team from Nova Kakhovka in Kherson oblast. The club competed in the Ukrainian Second League since 2010. History The club was founded in 1952 on the basis of worker's collective on the hydroelectrical station that is on the Dnipro River (Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant). Between 1957-1991, the club was administered by the local Electrical Machine Works. As club has won the regional oblast championship of Kherson 17 times and 15 times were Oblast Cup champions. From 1967 to 1971, the club participated in the Soviet professional competitions in the Ukrainian Class B Division until they were phased away. 2016–17 Ukrainian Football Amateur League
The 2016–17 Ukrainian Football Amateur League season was the 21st since it replaced the competition of physical culture clubs. The competition started on 13 August 2016. There were two groups with 12 teams in Group A and 12 teams in Group B. The last season winner FC Balkany Zorya has participated in professional Second League. On 29 August 2016, SC Tavriya Simferopol was admitted to the competition. 2017–18 Ukrainian Football Amateur League
The 2017–18 Ukrainian Football Amateur League season was the 22nd since it replaced the competition of physical culture clubs. The competition started on 5 August 2017. On 1 August 2017, the AAFU at its website announced the "season's contours". In explanation, AAFU disclosed that it has intention to conduct the competition in three groups that are split based on geographic principle and start it at the end of that week, while the composition of only two groups was confirmed.
