The Ukrainian Cup was the national ice hockey cup competition in Ukraine. It was only held in 2007, and was won by HC Sokil Kyiv. 2007 tournament Six teams participated in the competition. They were divided into two groups, with the top team in each group qualifying for the final. Hockey Club Sokil Kyiv ( uk, ХК Сокіл Київ; en, Falcon Hockey Club), commonly known as Sokil Kyiv or HC Sokil, is a Ukrainian Professional Hockey League team based in Kyiv. While their home arena is located in the city, the team also plays out of Brovary, still within the Kyiv region. They are a founding club of the Professional Hockey League of Ukraine, and have formerly competed in the national leagues of Belarus, Russia, and the Soviet Union. Until 2014 Sokil remained the oldest and most accomplished team in Ukrainian hockey, winning 12 of the 19 Ukrainian Hockey Championships held since 1992. HK ATEK Kyiv was an ice hockey team in Kyiv, Ukraine. The team played in the Ukrainian Hockey League The Ukrainian Hockey League is the name of the highest ice hockey league in Ukraine since the 2016–17 season, playing for the Ukrainian Hockey Championship. Berkut Hockey Club ( uk, ХК Беркут, ''HC Berkut'') was a Ukrainian professional ice hockey team based in Brovary. While its home arena is in Brovary, within the Kyiv region, it also played in the city of Kyiv.
