Ukifune
Ukifune (浮舟, うきふね) is the nickname of a princess in '' The Tale of Genji'', the unrecognized daughter of the Eighth Prince. The 51st chapter of the story is named after her. Literally, ''Ukifune'' means "A Boat Set Adrift"; her real name is not specified. Story Ukifune is the unrecognized daughter of the Eighth Prince, the half sister of Oigimi and Nakanokimi, and a young lady of uncommon beauty and grace. She lives with her mother at a distance from the royal court, shielding her from courtly politics; she is considered naive as such. Both Kaoru and Prince Niou court Ukifune and seek her love, and she agonizes over the proper choice. In order to release herself from the love triangle, Ukifune attempts suicide by throwing herself into the Uji River, but is unsuccessful. Kaoru Genji
Kaoru is a fictional character in ''The Tale of Genji'' (''Genji Monogatari''). He only appears as the lead for the novel's third act, called the 'Uji Jujo' (Uji Chapters). Kaoru has been called the first anti-hero in literature and is known for always having a strange but pleasant smell around him. He is known to be comparatively calculated and calm, and somewhat of an overthinker, as opposed to his love rival and close friend, Niou, who happens to be more "passionate" than he is. He is the son of the protagonist of the first two acts, Hikaru Genji, Hikaru Genji's wife, "Third Princess" (known as "Onna san no miya" in the Seidensticker version, or "Nyōsan" in Waley's), and Genji's nephew Kashiwagi. Kaoru is known to the world as Genji's son even though he was in fact fathered by Genji's nephew. GO!GO!7188 (Go Go Nana Ichi Hachi Hachi), also known simply as Gogo, was a Japanese rock band with influences spanning from surf rock to punk rock to enka. History In June 1998, Yumi Nakashima (nicknamed Yuu) and Akiko Hamada (nicknamed Akko), both alumnae of the same year at Shoyo High School in Kagoshima of Kyūshū, formed a band composed of girls, which was the forerunner of GO!GO!7188. When the band broke up in 1999, Yu and Akko formed GO!GO!7188 to participate in the ''Teen's Music Festival'', sponsored by Yamaha. They didn't win the grand prize, but they signed to the talent agencbreast/milia Turkey then joined GoGo as a drummer, and the band then signed with major label Capitol Music ( Toshiba-EMI). The is the last division of classical Japanese history, running from 794 to 1185.
