Uhryniv (Tysmenytsia Raion)
Uhryniv ( uk, Угринів, pl, Uhrynów) is a village in Ivano-Frankivsk Raion, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. The village is located just outside the Ivano-Frankivsk city municipality to its north-west. The village is part of its own rural commune, the Uhryniv village council (silrada). It hosts the administration of Uhryniv rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. There are over 3,000 residents. Until 18 July 2020, Uhryniv belonged to Tysmenytsia Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast to six. The area of Tysmenytsia Raion was merged into Ivano-Frankivsk Raion. The village is located at the intersection of the Halych highway and Kalush highway. Some commuter trains also stop at the railway station. The village is first mentioned in the 13th century. Yamnytsia Railway Station
Yamnytsia ( uk, Ямниця, pl, Jamnica) is a village of Ivano-Frankivsk Raion, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Ukraine, just few miles north from Ivano-Frankivsk. It hosts the administration of Yamnytsia rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. The village is better known for the Battle of Yamnytsia during the Kerensky Offensive, when the Russian Imperial Army successfully secured area north of Stanislau for a brief period of time (June 27–July 6, 1917). During the battle, all the Kornilov Strike regiment soldiers were awarded the Cross of St. George. Until 18 July 2020, Yamnytsia belonged to Tysmenytsia Raion. Ivano-Frankivsk Railway Station
Ivano-Frankivsk ( uk, Івано-Франківськ) is the main station of the Ivano-Frankivsk directory of Lviv Railways. History The railway station in Ivano-Frankivsk was established in 1866 when the city of Stanislau was part of the Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria within the Austro-Hungary. It became one of the oldest train stations in Ukraine. The station was built as part of the expansion of the Galician Railway of Archduke Charles Louis from Lemberg (Lviv) towards Czernowitz ( Chernivtsi). Along with the station right next to it was found a machine maintenance shop that later was transformed into a steam locomotive maintenance shop. The terminal of the station was built using elements of the Mauritanian style. The first train that traveled from Lemberg to Czernowitz stopped at Stanislau on September 1, 1866.
