Uganda National Academy of Sciences is a nonprofit, scientific organization in Uganda, that brings together scientists from the behavioral, biological, physical and social sciences. These scientists work together to promote excellence in sciences by "offering independent, evidence-based advice for the prosperity of Uganda", according to the academy's brochure. Non-governmental Organization

Peter Mugyenyi
Peter Ndimbirwe Mugyenyi, MBChB, DCH, FRCPI, FRCPE, ScD is a Ugandan physician, HIV/AIDS researcher, medical administrator and author. He is executive director and co-founder of the Joint Clinical Research Centre, and a leading authority on treatment of HIV/AIDS in Africa. Early life and education Mugyenyi was born in Rukungiri District in the Western Region of Uganda, circa 1949. He attended Kings College Budo, a prestigious, mixed, boarding secondary school, before he was admitted to Makerere University to study human medicine. Mary Okwakol
Mary Jossy Nakhanda Okwakol (born 1951) is a Ugandan university professor, academic administrator, zoologist and community leader. She is the current chairperson of the Uganda National Examinations Board. Before that, from October 2006 until May 2017, served as Vice Chancellor of Busitema University, one of the nine public universities in Uganda. Bishop Stuart University (BSU) is a private, not-for-profit, multi-campus university in Uganda. Location BSU has its main campus, measuring approximately , at ''Kakoba Hill'', off of Buremba Road, approximately east of downtown Mbarara. Jack H. Pen-Mogi Nyeko is a Ugandan veterinarian, academic and academic administrator. He is the vice chancellor of Gulu University, a public university in northern Uganda. Parliament Of Uganda
The parliament of Uganda is the country's legislative body. Unicameral, the most significant of the Ugandan parliament's functions is to pass laws that will provide good governance in the country. The government ministers are bound to answer to the people's representatives on the floor of the house.
