Verkhny Ufaley (russian: Ве́рхний Уфале́й) is a town in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia, located on the Ufaley River (a tributary of the Ufa River), northwest of Chelyabinsk, the administrative center of the oblast. Nikelshchik (russian: Никельщик) is a bandy club in Verkhny Ufaley, Russia. The club is playing in the Russian Bandy Supreme League, the second tier of Russian bandy. Bandy is a winter sport and ball sport played by two teams wearing ice skates on a large ice surface (either indoors or outdoors) while using sticks to direct a ball into the opposing team's goal. Iron ores are rocks and minerals from which metallic iron can be economically extracted.
