Uddevalla Municipality ( sv, Uddevalla kommun) is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Uddevalla. The present municipality was created in 1971 when the ''City of Uddevalla'' (which had absorbed the rural municipality Bäve in 1945) was amalgamated with the surrounding municipalities Forshälla, Lane-Ryr, Ljungskile, Skredsvik and parts of Skaftö. Gullmarn
Gullmarn, also known as Gullmarsfjorden or Gullmaren, is a threshold fjord in the middle of Bohuslän Archipelago on the west coast of Sweden. It is the largest of the Bohuslän fjords with a length of and a width ranging from . At its mouth, the depth is , plunging to at its greatest depth near Alsbäck. The name "Gullmarn" means "God's sea" and comes from Old Norse. At its northern end the fjord branches into the Färlev and Saltkälle fjords. Its shoreline has steep rock walls marked by many valleys containing streams and rivers. Deeply cut ravines are typical and steep cliffs alternate with sandy beaches and meadows. The fjord was designated as Sweden's first marine conservation area in 1983. The nature reserve covers and parts of several municipalities. Lysekil Municipality (''Lysekils kommun'') is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Lysekil. The present municipality was formed in 1971, when the ''City of Lysekil'' (instituted as such in 1903) was amalgamated with Stångenäs and the island of Skaftö. Geography Lysekil Municipality borders to the municipalities of Sotenäs (in the north-west), Munkedal (north) and Uddevalla (east). Stenungsund Municipality (''Stenungsunds kommun'') is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Stenungsund. The municipality is situated by the sea inside the islands Orust and Tjörn and traversed by the European route E6 and Bohus Line, in which it has three stops (Stora Höga, Stenungsund and Svenshögen). Munkedal Municipality
Munkedal Municipality (''Munkedals kommun'') is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Munkedal. The nationwide municipal reform of 1952 saw the creation of Munkedal, Svarteborg, Sörbygden and Ödeborg as larger rural municipalities. As early as 1967 Ödeborg was dissolved and parts of it added to Munkedal. Finally, in 1974 Svarteborg and Sörbygden were merged into Munkedal forming the present unit.
