River Regime
The river regime generally describes the character of the typical fluctuations of flow of a river, but can also refer to the mathematical relationship between the river discharge and its width, depth and slope. Village

Varva, Chernihiv Oblast
Varva ( uk, Варва) is an urban-type settlement in Pryluky Raion, Chernihiv Oblast of Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Varva settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: History Varva was founded at the site of an ancient settlement called Varyn which was referenced in 1079 within the "Instructions of Vladimir Monomakh", which was apparently the name of the village. Dihtiari
Dihtiari ( uk, Дігтярі, russian: Дегтяри) is an urban-type settlement in Pryluky Raion, Chernihiv Oblast, Ukraine. It is located on the left bank of the Udai in the drainage basin of the Dnieper. Dihtiari belongs to Sribne settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: Until 18 July 2020, Dihtiari belonged to Sribne Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Chernihiv Oblast to five. The area of Sribne Raion was merged into Pryluky Raion. Economy Transportation Dihtiari is connected by a road with Sribne, where there is access to Highway H07, which connects Kyiv and Sumy. Pyriatyn
Pyriatyn (, ) is a city in Poltava Oblast, Ukraine. It is the administrative center of Pyriatyn Raion. Population: History At the end of 1941 or beginning 1942, a ghetto guarded by policemen was established and numbered over 1,500 Jews by late March 1942. There were two major executions of Jews carried out by SD units Sonderkommando Plath, accompanied by Ukrainian auxiliary police. The first one took place on April 6, 1942, about 1530 Jews were taken to the woods, 3 km away from the town, and murdered. The second mass execution took place on May 18, 1942, when several Jewish families were killed along with 380 communists and Soviet militants, and 25 Gypsy families. Sula (Dnieper)
The Sula ( uk, Сула́; russian: Су́ла) is a left tributary of the Dnieper with a total length of 363 km and a drainage basin of 19,600 km². The river flows into the Dnieper through the Kremenchuk Reservoir, with which it forms a large delta with numerous islands, on which rare kinds of birds live. An important tributary is the Uday, smaller ones being Orzhytsya, Sliporid, Romen and Tern. Large cities located on the river are Romny, Lokhvytsia and Lubny. Pryluky Raion ( uk, Прилуцький район) is a raion (district) of Chernihiv Oblast, northern Ukraine. Its administrative centre is located at the city of Pryluky. The ''Great Soviet Encyclopedia'' (GSE; ) is one of the largest Russian-language encyclopedias, published in the Soviet Union from 1926 to 1990. After 2002, the encyclopedia's data was partially included into the later ''Bolshaya rossiyskaya entsiklopediya'' (or '' Great Russian Encyclopedia'') in an updated and revised form.
