''UK Top 40'' was a charts-based programme which aired on Sundays at 6pm on the CBBC channel from 2002 to 2005. The Show relaunched in Autumn 2002 along with the new CBBC line up. The shows launch presenters were Konnie Huq and Adrian Dickson and the show was a huge success they continued it over for another series in 2003. Series Adrian and Konnie then both left the show after two series and it was seen as the end of an era. Many thought that the show would become interactive with a voice over but in 2004 it was revealed for the third series that Andrew Hayden-Smith would take over. With the series three rebrand the viewers left due to competition from Top of the Pops which moved to the same time slot. Series 1 (2002–2003) The first series was anchored by Konnie and Adrian and contained guests and more fun competitions and games and counted down the top 40 singles in the UK. Adrian Dickson
Adrian Dickson (born 1977) is a South-African born British television and radio host. He began his career after graduating from a Broadcasting, Broadcast Journalism university degree course. His first television appearances were for CBBC (TV channel), CBBC on BBC Television. He presented CBBC Presentation In ''Studio 9 he also become the sole presenter for BBC Choice children's strand CBBC on Choice in November 2000 '' and ''Sub Zero'' as well as host non-children's programmes ''Top of the Pops'' and its sister show Top of the Pops @ Play. In 2002 he went on to front and co-produce the ''UK Top 40'' for the ''CBBC Channel'', a weekly rundown of the music charts. For radio, he presented shows for ''BBC Radio 3'' and ''BBC 7'' as well as independent local radio. Late in 2004 he became an international showbusiness reporter and producer for ''E! Kelendria Trene Rowland (born February 11, 1981) is an American singer, actress, and television personality. Blazin' Squad
Blazin' Squad were an English hip hop group. The group had seven top ten hits, including "Crossroads", a cover version of the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony original. Jon O'Brien of AllMusic called them the "self-proclaimed pioneers of 'chav' culture". Career ''In The Beginning'': 2002 The band released a number of white label singles on the Weighty Plates label featuring remixes of the track "Standard Flow" from their album '' In the Beginning''.
