UAE Exchange (Dubai Metro)
UAE Exchange ( ar, مركز الإمارات العربية المتحدة للصرافة; previously called Jebel Ali) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. History The station was inaugurated in March 2011 and was expected to handle over 4,000 passengers daily. It was the last stop on the Red Line until May 31, 2021, and has a total handling capacity of 11,000 passengers per direction. It is the only metro station that is built on the ground, and is not elevated or underground. The station was previously called Jebel Ali, before it was renamed on June 30, 2015, to UAE Exchange following an agreement between Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and UAE Exchange. The Red Line is one of the two lines on the Dubai Metro network in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Red Line runs from Rashidiya in the east to Jebel Ali in the west and travels parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road for most of its length. There are two transfer stations with the Green Line at Union and BurJuman stations. Additionally Jabal Ali is an interchange between the main Red Line and a branch to UAE Exchange. Dubai Metro
The Dubai Metro is a rapid transit rail network in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is currently operated by the French company Keolis. The Red Line and Green Line are operational, with a major 15 km (9.3 mi) extension to the Red Line known as Route 2020 to the Expo 2020 site announced in April 2015 and opened in 2021. These first two lines run underground in the city centre and on elevated viaducts elsewhere. All trains are fully automated and driverless, and, together with stations, are air conditioned with platform edge doors. Etisalat by e& ( ar, اتصالات من e&) is a rapid transit station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE. Trial running began in October 2010, with the station inaugurated on 9 September 2011 and opened to the public the next day, 10 September 2011. On February 5, 2023, this station was renamed to "Etisalat by e&". The station is located on Al Nahda Street, between Al Qusais and Al Twar, and north of Dubai International Airport. It is close to Al Qusais Pond Park. It is also close to the junction of Al Nahda Street with the major Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E 311). The station continues to the network's depot. The Green Line is one of the two lines in the Dubai Metro network in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It runs through Deira and Bur Dubai, generally parallel to Dubai Creek.
