Uzbekistan Women's League
The Uzbekistan Women's League, also the Uzbek women's national football championship, is top division of women's football in Uzbekistan. The league is organized by the Uzbekistan Football Federation. Before 1991, some Uzbek women's clubs had competed in the Soviet Union women's league system, but after the collapse of the Soviet Union most women's teams left for Russia or simply dissolved. AFC Women's Club Championship
The AFC Women's Club Championship is the top-tier women's football club competition in Asia. It involves the top clubs from countries affiliated with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Designed as pilot tournaments, the format will change in 2023 to an invitational tournament, and in 2024 replaced with the launch of the AFC Women's Champions League. The concept of an Asian women's club competition was first recommended in 2018. The inaugural championship in 2019 was held as a round-robin tournament among four teams from the east region. This was followed by the 2021 championship among four teams from the west region. For 2022, seven teams would be split between east and west regions, with winners from the two regions facing off in the final on 22 October 2022. The current (2022) champions are Thailand's College of Asian Scholars for the East zone title and Uzbekistan's Sogdiyona Jizzak for the West zone title. Uzbekistan Football Federation
The Uzbekistan Football Association ( uz, Oʻzbekiston Futbol Federatsiyasi) is the governing body of football in Uzbekistan, controlling the Uzbekistan national team. History Uzbekistan Football Federation was founded in 1946, while Uzbekistan was still under Soviet rule, and has been a member of FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation since 1994. On 7 January 2013, at a ceremony in Zurich, Switzerland, Uzbekistan football federation was awarded the prize FIFA Fair Play Award from FIFA. Uzbekistan Football Federation took also first place in points for the "Fair Play" among the AFC in 2012.
