Utility (C )
is a header file in the C++ Standard Library. This file has two key components: *, a namespace containing set of templates which define default behavior for the relational operators , , , and between objects of the same type, based on user-defined operators and . *, a container template which holds two member objects ( and ) of arbitrary type(s). In economics, an Edgeworth box, sometimes referred to as an Edgeworth-Bowley box, is a graphical representation of a market with just two commodities, ''X'' and ''Y'', and two consumers. The dimensions of the box are the total quantities Ω''x'' and Ω''y'' of the two goods. Let the consumers be Octavio and Abby. The expected utility hypothesis is a popular concept in economics that serves as a reference guide for decisions when the payoff is uncertain. The theory recommends which option rational individuals should choose in a complex situation, based on their risk appetite and preferences.
