Us with Salvini ( it, Noi con Salvini, NcS) was a populist political party in Italy. The party, founded by Matteo Salvini on 19 December 2014, was the sister party of Lega Nord (LN) for southern Italy, Lazio, and Sardinia (where the LN regional section was never recognised as one of its "national" sections, and where the party joined forces with the Sardinian Action Party, PSd'Az). Salvini was the party's president, Raffaele Volpi (a senator of Lega Nord) vice-president, while Angelo Attaguile, formerly a member of the Party of Sicilians, who was the first deputy to join the party, secretary and leader in Sicily. In the 2018 general election, NcS ran under the "Lega" umbrella alongside Lega Nord, the aforementioned PSd'Az and minor parties. More than 20 deputies and senators were elected outside the Centre-North. As of early 2019, the party seems no longer active. The regions of Italy ( it, regioni d'Italia) are the first-level administrative divisions of the Italian Republic, constituting its second NUTS administrative level. 2014 European Parliament Election In Italy
The 2014 European Parliament election in Italy took place on 25 May 2014. Italy elected 73 MEPs out of 751 European Parliament seats. The governing Democratic Party (PD) won the election with 40.8% of the vote and 31 seats, followed by the Five Star Movement (21.2% and 17 seats) and Forza Italia (16.8% and 13 seats). As a result, the PD was the second largest national party in the European Parliament by number of seats after the German CDU/CSU and the largest among the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats. The PD's score was also the best result for an Italian party in a nationwide election since the 1958 general election, when the Christian Democracy won 42.4% of the vote. The Federalist Alliance ( it, Alleanza Federalista) was a federalist Italian political party, which was the emanation of Lega Nord in Central and Southern Italy. The party was founded in 2003, after the Lega Sud Ausonia of Gianfranco Vestuto, which had been the Lega Nord's sister party in the South for many years, broke the alliance with Lega Nord and turned to its original anti-Northern feelings. The party was led by Giacomo Chiappori, former MP of Lega Nord and leader of Lega Nord Liguria with Southern ascent. Lega Sud Ausonia
Lega Sud Ausonia (''Southern League Ausonia'') is a minor independentist political party in Italy. The party was founded in 1996, as the sister-party of Lega Nord in Southern Italy, and is led by Gianfranco Vestuto. Similarly to Lega Nord's goal of establishing an independent Padania, Lega Sud wants to establish an independent Ausonia, intended as Southern Italy. The party is not represented in the Italian Parliament, the European Parliament, nor in any regional or provincial assemblies. In the 2001 general election Vestuto was a candidate of Lega Nord in Campania, but after that the two parties distanced themselves and Lega Sud chose to follow an anti- Northern line. The 2018 Italian general election was held on 4 March 2018 after the Italian Parliament was dissolved by President Sergio Mattarella on 28 December 2017. Voters were electing the 630 members of the Chamber of Deputies and the 315 elective members of the Senate of the Republic for the 18th legislature of the Italian Republic since 1948. The Party of Sicilians ( it, Partito dei Siciliani, PdS) was a regionalist and Christian-democratic political party in Sicily. Sardinian Action Party
The Sardinian Action Party ( sc, Partidu Sardu, it, Partito Sardo d'Azione, PSd'Az or PSdA) is a Sardinian nationalist, regionalist and separatist political party in Sardinia. While being traditionally part of the Sardinian centre-left, the party has also sided with the centre-right coalition and, more recently, with the League. Lega Sardegna ( en, Sardinia League; abbr. LS), whose complete name is ( en, Sardinia League for Salvini Premier), is a regionalist and Sardinian nationalist political party active in Sardinia, Italy.
