Urbinaga (Bilbao Metro)
Urbinaga is a station on Line 2 (Bilbao metro), line 2 of the Bilbao metro. It is located in the neighborhood of Simondrogas, in the municipality of Sestao, next to the Sestao water treatment plant and in proximity to the Estadio Lasesarre, Lasesarre football stadium. It was opened on 13 April 2002. Sestao is a town and municipality of 27,296 inhabitants located in the province of Biscay, in the autonomous community of Basque Country, northern Spain. BizkaiBus is the name for bus services serving the province of Biscay, Spain. It is named after the Basque name of the province, ''Bizkaia''. The buses can be identified by their distinctive green (until 2009 yellow) livery. The bus network is integrated in the Barik card system. Kabiezes is the northern terminus of line 2 of the Bilbao metro. It is located in the neighborhood of Kabiezes, in the municipality of Santurtzi. Construction of the station and the track between Santurtzi and Kabiezes began in 2009 and was delayed after a mudslide flooded the tunnel connecting both stations. It opened on 28 June 2014. Basauri is the southern terminus of line 2 of the Bilbao metro. The station is located in the municipality of Basauri, part of the Bilbao metropolitan area. It opened in 2011. The Cercanías Bilbao commuter railway network (operated by Renfe) also has a Basauri station on its C3 line, but they are not at the same location – there is a distance of about between them, with the Cercanías station serving the industrial area to the south of the town, including the large steel facility. Estuary Of Bilbao
The Estuary of Bilbao (Spanish: ''Ría de Bilbao'' / Basque: ''Bilboko Itsasadarra'') lies at the common mouth of the rivers Nervion, Ibaizabal and Cadagua, which drain most of Biscay and part of Alava in the Basque Country, Spain. In this instance, the Spanish word estuario is used to describe what in English would normally be called part estuary, part tidal river. The estuary becomes a tidal river which extends into the city of Bilbao, starting from the Bilbao Abra bay. It hosts the port of Bilbao throughout its length, although the Port Authority has recently restored most of the upper reaches to Bilbao and other municipalities for their urban regeneration. The port is now being transferred to the seaboard on the coast at Santurtzi and Zierbena.
