''Uptight'' (also known as ''Up Tight!'') is a 1968 American drama film directed by Jules Dassin. It was intended as an updated version of John Ford's 1935 film '' The Informer'', based on the book of the same name by Liam O'Flaherty, but the setting was transposed from Dublin to Cleveland. The soundtrack was performed by Booker T. & the MG's. The assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. is used as a backdrop for the film's fictional narrative. Plot In Cleveland, Ohio, at the time of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr., protesters riot in the streets. Johnny Wells, a charismatic black revolutionary, leads a group of black men on a mission to steal guns from a warehouse as preparation for violent racial conflict. Johnny's best friend Tank, who formerly worked at the steel mill with several of the men, is supposed to help with the robbery, but when the group goes to his house, they find him drunk and watching the television coverage of King's funeral. ''Uptight'' is an Australian music television series which aired on ATV-0 in Melbourne from 1967 until 1969 on Saturday mornings at 8am to 12pm, it was hosted by singer Ross D. Wyllie.McFarlane (1999). Encyclopedia entry for A compilation album, ''Uptight – Party Time'', by Ross D. Wyllie and the Uptight Party Team, was issued via Calendar/Festival Records in 1968. The third season of American show Disney Channel teen sitcom '' Hannah Montana'' aired from November 2, 2008 until March 14, 2010. Filming for the season started a day after the 2008 Teen Choice Awards on August 5, 2008. The third season of ''Hannah Montana'' focuses on how the characters grow up than the previous seasons. Hannah has grown up into a new look. Different from the previous two seasons, she has shorter hair and an untraditional style which includes a lot of zebra print and unique boots. Oliver and Lilly start dating starting from the episode " What I Don't Like About You". Later, Lilly moves in with the Stewarts. At the end of the season, the Stewarts and Lilly move from Malibu while Oliver prepares to go on tour with a band. This is the last season to be broadcast in Standard Definition. ''UpTight'' is a soundtrack album by Southern soul band Booker T. & the M.G.'s for the film of the same title. The album features " Time Is Tight", the single version of which became a US Top 10 hit (the second biggest of their career) and a signature song for the band. Recording The version of "Time Is Tight" included on the ''Up Tight'' soundtrack album is an alternate recording, which differs from the single version in several respects: it is in stereo, it is played at a faster tempo, it runs almost two minutes longer (4'55"), and it includes both an extended introduction and an instrumental "breakdown" (beginning around 3'30"), neither of which are in the single version. ''Up-Tight'' (shown as ''Up-Tight Everything's Alright'' on the cover) is a 1966 album by American singer Stevie Wonder, released by Motown on the Tamla label. It was his fifth studio release. Production ''Up-Tight'' was recorded at Motown's studio Hitsville U.S.A. in Detroit. It includes two earlier recordings, the 1962 single "Contract on Love" and the un-issued 1964 single "Pretty Little Angel". Also included on the album are "Nothing's Too Good for My Baby", another Wonder co-write, and a cover of folk star Bob Dylan's "Blowin' in the Wind", which made Wonder popular with crossover audiences, and a cover of the standard,'' Teach Me Tonight'', featuring vocals by The Four Tops. Stevie was backed by the Funk Brothers, the legendary, but uncredited, early period Motown Records studio musicians, creators of the famous, recognisable '60s Motown sound. "Uptight (Everything's Alright)" is a 1965 hit single recorded by American singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder for the Tamla (Motown) label. One of his most popular early singles, "Uptight (Everything's Alright)" was the first hit single Wonder co-wrote. A notable success, "Uptight (Everything's Alright)" peaked at number 3 on the ''Billboard'' Pop Singles chart in early 1966, at the same time reaching the top of the ''Billboard'' R&B Singles chart for five weeks.
