Unmasked (Ira Losco Album)
Ira Losco's first unplugged album (her third studio album) is ''Unmasked: the unplugged album''. It was recorded in 2006, produced by Howard Keith (at Jagged House), and released on 6 December 2006. ''Unmasked'' includes various unplugged renditions of Losco's previous hit songs, unique arrangements of some 80s classics, and some new original material. Concept and idea The idea for an unplugged album was born after Losco's supporting tour in Germany. The producer of the album, Howard Keith, said "Whilst touring her electric set in Germany Ira Losco had an opportunity of also doing 4 unplugged shows with Katie Melua who is now a multi platinum respected artist. The experience was very positive, and her set was so well received, that I thought it would be a great idea to record an unplugged album. Ira Losco
Ira Losco M.Q.R. (born 31 July 1981) is a Maltese pop singer. Her career breakthrough came in 2002, when she represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 with the song "7th Wonder". She placed second in the competition, Malta's best ever result. Fourteen years later, she returned and represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song " Walk on Water", placing twelfth. Losco has released six studio albums so far in her career and is one of the most successful Maltese musicians of all time. In 2018, she served as a judge on the inaugural season of ''X Factor Malta''. She returned to serve as a judge in 2019. Acoustic Music
Acoustic music is music that solely or primarily uses instruments that produce sound through acoustic means, as opposed to electric or electronic means. ''Accident Prone'' is Ira Losco's second studio album, which was released on November 16, 2005. Howard Keith produced this album, which was recorded in 2005. To date, this album is the fans' favourite album. It was a number 1 hit in the local album sales charts, and seven tracks from it were released as singles. Losco's second album features "powerful guitars, edgy riffs and strong melodies". Album production The production of ''Accident Prone'' started in April 2005 at the Farmhouse Studios (Siggiewi, Malta). Losco said, "I enjoyed writing this album so much. ''Fortune Teller'' is the third studio album by Maltese recording artist Ira Losco. She began working on the album in summer 2007 and on 9 May 2008, announced its release date at a press conference was made by Losco. ''Fortune Teller'' was produced by Losco and Howard Keith (at Jagged House). Concept and style ''Fortune Teller'' manifests a more mature Losco. Soft Cell are an English synthpop duo who came to prominence in the early 1980s. The duo consists of vocalist Marc Almond and instrumentalist David Ball.
