Universal's Superstar Parade
History Universal's Superstar Parade was a parade at Universal Studios Florida. It was first announced at a live webcast on January 25, 2012. The parade included characters, floats, and themed-vehicles based on Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment's ''Despicable Me'' and ''Hop'' films, as well as Paramount and Nickelodeon's ''SpongeBob SquarePants'', ''Dora the Explorer'', and ''Go, Diego, Go!'' television series. Each section of the parade had a unique mix of performers, from aerialists to drummers to acrobatics. The parade was notable for having “show stops” in the New York and Hollywood sections of the park where an elaborate choreographed dance routine would take place. Leading up to the parade, each individual unit would make appearances throughout the day for smaller shows and meet-n-greets. Nickelodeon (often shortened to Nick) is an American pay television television channel, channel which launched on April 1, 1979, as the first cable channel for children. Squidward Tentacles
Squidward Q. Tentacles is a fictional character voiced by actor Rodger Bumpass in the Nickelodeon animated television series ''SpongeBob SquarePants''. Dabbing, or the dab, is a gesture in which a person drops their head into the bent crook of a slanted, upward angled arm, while raising the opposite arm out straight in a parallel direction. The move looks similar to someone sneezing into the crook of their elbow. Since 2015, dabbing has been used as a gesture of triumph or playfulness, becoming a youthful fad and Internet meme. Vine was an American short-form video hosting service where users could share six-second-long looping video clips. It was originally launched on January 24, 2013 by Vine Labs, Inc., bought by Twitter the year before; the service was shut down in October 2016 and the app was discontinued a few months later. Videos published on Vine's social network could also be shared on different social networking platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
