United States Women's National Ball Hockey Team
The United States Women's National Ball Hockey Team is the women's national ball hockey team of United States, and a member of the International Street and Ball Hockey Federation (ISBHF). History At the 2017 ISBHF Worlds, the US earned their first-ever podium finish. In the semifinals, they defeated the two-time defending champion gold medalists Canada in a 3-2 tally. Becky Dobson would be credited with the game-winning goal. Advancing to the gold medal game against host country Czech Republic, the US forced overtime, although the result was a 4-3 loss. Of note, the 2017 United States roster also featured three players from the NWHL. Among them were Cherie Stewart, who played in the inaugural season of the New York Riveters, Amber Moore, another Riveters alum, plus Paige Harrington, who captured the 2017 Isobel Cup championship as a member of the Buffalo Beauts. Ratingen ( li, Rotinge) is a town in the district of Mettmann in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It lies in the northwestern part of Berg about 12 km northeast of Düsseldorf. The Buffalo Beauts are a professional ice hockey team based in Amherst, New York, United States. The team was established in 2015 as one of the four founding franchises of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF), originally named the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL). The Metropolitan Riveters (originally the New York Riveters) are a professional women's ice hockey team based in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with home games at the American Dream Meadowlands ice rink. They were one of the four charter franchises of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL), now known as the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). Its team name and logo are based upon Rosie the Riveter, the subject of the World War II-era motivational poster " We Can Do It!".
