''Unexpected'' is the second studio album by American hip-hop and R&B recording artist Lumidee, released by TVT Records on April 17, 2007 in the United States and on June 21, 2007 in the United Kingdom. The album was produced primarily by J. Marty with contributions made by Scott Storch, T.C. Love, Lenky, Ron Browz, Wyclef Jean, Jerry Duplessis and Red Spyda. Background In an interview with Vibe Magazine, Lumidee spoke about signing with TVT Records stating, "TVT Records is the perfect way for me to come back and again I'm coming out of left field, just like with Never Leave You. Lumidee Cedeño (born October 13, 1984) is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. She quickly rose to fame in 2003 with the release of her song "Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)", which peaked at number three on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, and also peaked within the top ten of the charts in over ten countries, including the United Kingdom, and topped the charts in several mainland European countries. However, she is mostly known for this one single, making her a one-hit wonder. Early life Cedeño was born in East Harlem, New York, of Puerto Rican descent. "Me Gustas Tú" is the second single from Manu Chao's second solo album, '' Próxima Estación: Esperanza''. It has proved to be one of the artist's most popular songs worldwide. Its lyrics have a simple but catchy structure and it is mostly in Spanish with part of the chorus in French. The song, as well as two other tracks from the same album, "La primavera" and "Infinita tristeza", feature the same background music. In fact, on the album, "La primavera" fades and leads into "Me Gustas Tú". Music video A music video was produced for the song in Urrao, Colombia, featuring Manu Chao dancing and singing the lyrics while some spare words from it appear on the screen, always surrounded by a frame of colourful patterns.
