Under The Electric Sky
''EDC 2013: Under the Electric Sky'' is an American musical documentary film co-directed by Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz. The film also features Pasquale Rotella, producer of the Electric Daisy Carnival. The film had its world premiere at 2014 Sundance Film Festival on January 18, 2014. The film later screened at ''Sundance London Film Festival'' on April 25, 2014. Focus Features acquired the distribution rights of the film. Synopsis The film chronicles the community and life of festival-goers during Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, the largest dance and music festival held in the US. Reception ''EDC 2013: Under the Electric Sky'' received mixed reviews from critics. Justin Lowe in his review for ''The Hollywood Reporter'' praised the film by saying that "Colorful 3D eye candy provides minimal cinematic nourishment." Kaskade
Ryan Gary Raddon (born February 25, 1971), better known by his stage name Kaskade, is an American DJ, record producer and remixer. ''DJ Times'' voted Kaskade "America's Best DJ" in 2011 and 2013. ''DJ Mag'' named Kaskade fifty-first on its 2009 list of Top 100 DJs. Early life Born in Chicago, Kaskade grew up in nearby Northbrook and attended Glenbrook North High School. As a teenager, he would shop for music at Gramaphone Records on Clark Street in Chicago. His brother, Rich Raddon, became an entrepreneur and film producer. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah from 1989 to 1990, working on his DJ skills in his dorm room. At age 19, Raddon served a two-year full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Japan. Reed P. Smoot A.S.C. is a United States cinematographer associated with many successful IMAX documentaries and theme park rides.
