''Un gars, une fille'' (, ''A Guy, A Girl'') is a Canadian Television comedy, comedy television series created by and starring Guy A. Lepage and broadcast on Télévision de Radio-Canada, Radio-Canada, as well as the title of its French adaptation on France 2. It was one of the most successful television shows in the province of Quebec, with a concept List of Quebec television series imports and exports, exported to more than thirty markets around the world. It was the first French-language Canadian television programme to be adapted in the United States. The show spawned several international versions, most notably a Un gars, une fille (French TV series), French TV series of the same name, which characters appeared in a 1999 episode of the original series, "À Paris". A running gag, or running joke, is a literary device that takes the form of an amusing joke or a comical reference and appears repeatedly throughout a work of literature or other form of storytelling.
