''Un biglietto del tram'' is the fourth studio album by the Italian progressive rock band Stormy Six. It was released in 1975. The climate for the release of this record (among other things, one of the first "independent" outputs) is the years of lead and politicization of every aspect of life. Stormy Six represented the official voice of the student movement in Milan (or what remained of it), by far the groups' most important challenge of 1968. The concept of the work is related to the struggle for liberation from Nazi barbarism; all the songs have descriptions of facts (or considerations) linked to guerrilla warfare. And during this era, there was a "policy" or view the reaffirmation of an identity and a history without which no speech "left" is possible. Thus, there was no chance of "revivalism". Stormy Six
Stormy Six were an Italian progressive and folk rock band founded in Milan in 1966. They performed and recorded until 1983, mostly as a sextet but occasionally as a quartet, a quintet and a septet. Although their line-up changed considerably over the years, founding member Franco Fabbri remained with the group for its entire duration. In May 1993 they performed at a re-union concert in Milan, which was recorded and released on a CD, ''Un Concerto'' (1995). Stormy Six were best known as one of the five original Rock in Opposition (RIO) bands that performed at the first RIO festival in March 1978 in London. They later participated actively in the shaping of RIO as an organisation and performed across Europe with other RIO and related bands. Franco Fabbri
Franco Fabbri (born 1949) is a Brazilian-born Italian musician, musicologist and broadcaster. Born in São Paulo in 1949, from 1965 Fabbri was guitarist, vocalist and composer for Stormy Six, regarded as one of the most interesting Italian progressive bands, and one much admired by the specialist press: in 1980 the group received an award for best rock album of the year from the West German record critics, coming ahead of Police.
