UMass Lowell River Hawks Women's Basketball
The UMass Lowell River Hawks women's basketball team represents the University of Massachusetts Lowell in Lowell, Massachusetts, United States. The River Hawks started play in NCAA Division I beginning in 2013 and joined the America East Conference. As part of their transition from NCAA Division II, Division II to Division I, they were not eligible for postseason play until the 2017–2018 season. 2003 NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Tournament
The 2003 NCAA Division II women's basketball tournament involved 64 teams playing in a single-elimination tournament to determine the NCAA Division II women's college basketball national champion. It began March 14, 2003 and concluded with the championship game on March 29, 2003. The first three rounds were hosted by top-seeded teams in regional play. Bentley Falcons
The Bentley Falcons are composed of 21 teams representing Bentley University in intercollegiate athletics, including men and women's basketball, cross country, lacrosse, soccer, swimming & diving, tennis, and track and field. Men's sports include baseball, football, golf, and ice hockey. Women's sports include field hockey, softball, and volleyball. The Falcons compete in NCAA Division II and are members of the Northeast-10 Conference for all sports except the men's ice hockey team, which competes in Division I as a member of Atlantic Hockey. The Saint Anselm Hawks are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Saint Anselm College, located in Goffstown, New Hampshire, in NCAA Division II sporting competitions. The Hawks are primarily members of the Northeast-10 Conference, where 21 of their 23 sports compete. Tom Garrick
Thomas S. Garrick (born July 7, 1966) is a retired American professional basketball player who was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in the second round (45th overall pick) of the 1988 NBA draft. He played guard in four NBA seasons, mainly for the Clippers. Garrick's best year as a Clipper was during the 1989–90 NBA season when he averaged 7.0 ppg in 73 games. He played collegiately at the University of Rhode Island. He was the head coach of the University of Rhode Island women's basketball team until he resigned following the 2008–09 season. From 2009 to 2015 he served as a women's basketball assistant coach at Vanderbilt University before moving on to Boston College for three seasons. The River Hawks are led by fourth year head coach Jenerrie Harris and will once again play most their home games in the Costello Athletic Center while select games will be played in the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell and were members of the America East Conference.
