UEFA Euro 2012 Qualifying
The qualifying competition for UEFA Euro 2012 was a series of parallel association football competitions held over 2010 and 2011 to decide the qualifiers for UEFA Euro 2012, held in Poland and Ukraine. The draw for the qualifying rounds was held on 7 February 2010 in the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Science, Warsaw, with matches set to take place between August 2010 and November 2011. There were nine groups. Six of these groups had six teams (one each from pots 1 to 6 below); the remaining three groups consisted of five teams (one each from pots 1 to 5 below). Group competition was a double round robin: each team hosted a game with every other team in its group. The first-place team in each group qualified, along with the second-place team with the most points against teams ranked in the top five in the group. San Marino Stadium
The Stadio Olimpico di San Marino (or Stadio Olimpico di Serravalle) is a multi-purpose stadium in Serravalle, San Marino. First opened in 1969, it is currently used mostly for football matches. It is the national stadium of San Marino. Overview The Stadio Olimpico was also used by Serravalle-based football club A.C. Juvenes/Dogana for its home games in the Italian league, until the side withdrew to concentrate only on the Sammarinese Championship. The Stadio Olimpico is an all-seater stadium and has a maximum capacity of 6,664. It has hosted teams such as England, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and Scotland. The San Marino national team's three biggest defeats at the stadium are a record 13–0 to Germany in September 2006, 10–0 to England in 2021, and joint third are two 8–0 defeats in 2013 to both England and Ukraine. Szusza Ferenc Stadion
Szusza Ferenc Stadion (formerly known as Megyeri úti Stadion or simply Megyeri út) is a football stadium in Újpest and the home of Újpest FC. The stadium was designed by Alfréd Hajós and opened on 17 September 1922. The stadium was renovated in 2000-01; its capacity is 12,670. Since 2003 the stadium has been named after Ferenc Szusza (1923–2006), one of the best strikers in Hungarian football history. History After one year of construction the stadium was opened on 17 September 1922, with the match Újpest v Ferencváros 2-1. From June 1925 to June 1929 a bicycle track was running around the ground allowing it to be used as a velodrome. Since the track was occupying some parts of the stands, the capacity was reduced to 15,000 people. A flood in 1945 destroyed the stands but after the renovations in 1946 the Megyeri úti Stadion became the largest stadium in Hungary with a capacity of 45,117 people. Vladimir Koman Jr. (born 16 March 1989) is a Ukrainian-born Hungarian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Hungarian second-tier NB II team Diósgyőr. Club career Koman was born in Uzhhorod, Zakarpattia Oblast, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Soviet Union. When he was a child, in 1991, his family moved to Szombathely, where he played his first matches for the local football team Haladás and made his debut in the NB2 league at age 15. Gergely Rudolf (; born 9 March 1985) is a Hungarian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career Rudolf was born in Nyíregyháza. Debrecen Rudolf signed a contract with the Hungarian champion Debrecen in 2007. His first trophy was won against Budapest Honvéd by 4–1 on aggregate. The first leg finished 1–1 in the Bozsik Stadion. Bengt Erik Markus Berg (; born 17 August 1986) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Allsvenskan club IFK Göteborg, which he captains.
