U.S. Route 322 Business (State College, Pennsylvania)
U.S. Route 322 Business (US 322 Bus.), designated internally as State Route 3014 (SR 3014), is a business loop of US 322 in Centre County, Pennsylvania. Its western terminus is at an interchange with Interstate 99 (I-99)/US 220/US 322 near State College; its eastern terminus is at US 322 near Boalsburg. US 322 Bus. was signed at US 322 until 1981, when the Mount Nittany Expressway, a freeway bypass of US 322, was constructed north of State College. US 322 Bus. serves as the main east–west thoroughfare in State College, and the section in State College is named Atherton Street in honor of George W. Pennsylvania Route 26 (PA 26) is a highway in the south-central area of Pennsylvania. Its northern terminus is at PA 150 northwest of Howard; its southern terminus is at the Maryland state line near Barnes Gap in Union Township. The Westgate Building, formerly known as Information Sciences and Technology Building (commonly known as the ''IST Building'') is a classroom building at Pennsylvania State University. Construction was completed in January 2004. The building was designed by the acclaimed architect Rafael Vinoly. The Penn State Golf Courses are two 18-hole courses located in State College, Pennsylvania, US, operated by The Pennsylvania State University. The individual 18-hole courses are named after the school colors (blue and white). They, along with their practice facilities, are the home of the men's and women's golf team and all intramural golf activities of the university. The practice facilities include a double-sided driving range with both natural grass and artificial teeing areas, and several putting greens located throughout the facility. Early golf at Penn State Golf has been played at the university since the first rise in popularity of the sport in the United States in the latter half of the 19th century. Rec Hall
Recreation Building, or Rec Hall as it is more commonly known, is a field house located on the University Park campus of the Pennsylvania State University. It was opened on January 15, 1929, and is still in use. Previously, Penn State's indoor sports teams played in a building known as the Armory, which was razed to allow expansion of the Willard Building. The men's and women's basketball teams moved to the Bryce Jordan Center in 1996 but the gymnastics, volleyball, and wrestling teams continue to compete at Rec Hall. The well-known Nittany Lion Shrine is located nearby this building.
