U.D.A.U.F.L. is the acronym for Underground Dance Artists United For Life, a collaboration of Dance music acts put together by the producer duo known as Blaze. The acts that make up this project are Kenny Bobien, Joi Cardwell, Arnold Jarvis, Ultra Nate, Byron Stingily, Barbara Tucker, Dawn Tallman, Michelle Weeks, Darryl D'Bonneau, Sabrynaah Pope, Stephanie Cooke and Keith Thompson Joe Adams) In 2005, the project, along with Tucker and Blaze, scored a number-one track on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart with "Most Precious Love". This would be Pope's last song that she would record as part of the project (as one of the backing chorus vocals) before her death on September 24, 2005. "Most Precious Love" is a 2004 house song produced, written and recorded by the American duo Blaze, featuring the musical collective ensemble U.D.A.U.F.L. (the acronym for Underground Dance Artists United For Life), with vocals performed by singer Barbara Tucker. The single's history is unique in itself, having been released twice and with new mixes, as well as a 16-week climb to number one on the ''Billboard'' Dance Club Songs chart, reaching the top spot on June 4, 2005, giving Tucker her sixth chart topper. In the United Kingdom, the single charted twice, peaking at 44 in 2005, then again with a new mix by the Freemasons (sans the U.D.A.U.F.L. credits, and rebilled as "Barbara Tucker featuring Blaze"), peaking much better at number 17 in 2006. Barbara Tucker (born March 19, 1967), is an American house and soul singer, songwriter and choreographer born in Brooklyn, New York, US. Blaze is an American house music group formed in New Jersey in 1984. History The group was formed by Josh Milan, Kevin Hedge and Chris Herbert, when Herbert introduced Milan, a member of his church choir, to Hedge, his childhood friend.
