Dolores Camarillo (March 31, 1910 – February 8, 1988) was a Mexican character actress of film, television, and theater. She also was a makeup artist for films, and was frequently billed as "Fraustita". Personal life The daughter of actors, Camarillo was a makeup artist for films in the 1930s. She was also a makeup teacher in the Andrés Soler Institute. She was married to fellow film actor Antonio R. Frausto, to whom she owed her professional nickname of "Fraustita", or meaning "little woman Frausto". Career Camarillo debuted as an actress in 1915 in the theatrical play, ''La cara de Dios'' (The Face of God). She appeared in 124 films from 1933 to 1986. One of her most prominent roles in her film career is that of "Paz" in the popular 1940 Cantinflas film '' Ahí está el detalle''. Arturo Soto Rangel (March 12, 1882 – May 25, 1965) was a Mexican film, television, and stage actor. Soto was best known for appearing in over 250 Mexican films. He appeared in one American movie, '' The Treasure of the Sierra Madre'', which won three Academy Awards and starred Humphrey Bogart, Walter Huston, Tim Holt, Bruce Bennett, and many other successful actors. Soto last appeared on television in 1963, where he starred in ''Voy de gallo''. Janet Alcoriza
Janet Alcoriza (born Janet Riesenfeld; January 4, 1918 – November 12, 1998), also known as Raquel Rojas, was an American screenwriter and actress of Austrian and Scotch-Irish descent who spent most of her career in Mexico. She contributed to more than 50 films from 1945 to 1987, and early in her career was associated with Luis Buñuel. Biography Her father, Vienna-born composer Hugo Riesenfeld, emigrated to the United States in 1907, where he met and married Mabel Dunning. The couple had Janet in 1918 in New York City. When she was a girl, she fell in love with acting when she observed performances at the theater her father operated. She took lessons from her father's dancing teacher, and she later spent time in Mexico and Spain, which aided her in becoming fluent in Spanish. Luis Aguilar Manzo (29 January 1918 – 24 October 1997) was a Mexican film and television actor and singer. He was also known as ''El Gallo Giro'', and was noted for his performances in films as '' El 7 leguas'' (1955) and '' El látigo negro'' (1958). Aguilar was born in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. He was given his first leading role in the film '' Sota, Caballo y Rey'' (1944). He had two daughters (Anna Luisa y Martha Fernanda Aguilar) from his first marriage, and one son (Luis Aguilar Doblado) from his second marriage with Rosario Gálvez. Rosita Quintana (16 July 1925 – 23 August 2021) was an Argentine-Mexican actress, singer and songwriter. She was one of the top leading ladies of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. She starred in Luis Buñuel's '' Susana'' (1951) and musical films such as ''Serenata en México'' (1956) and ''Cuando México canta'' (1958). Her performances earned her acting awards from Mexico, Argentina, Russia, and Spain. In 2016, she received the Mexican Academy of Film Arts and Sciences' Golden Ariel Award for career achievement. Life and career Quintana was born Trinidad Rosa Quintana Muñoz in the Saavedra neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
