Jane Törnqvist (born 9 May 1975) is a former footballer who most recently played for Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC. She is currently the Strength and Conditioning Coach of India women's national football team, India women's national team. A tough tackling central defender, she wore number 3 for her club. She played 109 games for the Sweden women's national football team, Sweden women's national team before retiring from international football in 2005. Career Club Törnqvist started her career in Hallsta IK. Törnqvist played for Häverödals SK, Rimbo IF, Tyresö FF, Hammarby IF DFF, Hammarby IF and Älvsjö AIK. When Älvsjö AIK and Djurgårdens IF Dam, Djurgårdens IF merged to become Djurgården/Älvsjö, Törnqvist was on the new team. Törnqvist played five seasons with the team. Noel Törnqvist
Noel Max Joachim Törnqvist (born 1 February 2002) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Mjällby AIF in Allsvenskan. Career Törnqvist started his youth career in Snöstorp Nyhem FF as an outfield player. He went on to Halmstads BK and became a goalkeeper at age 15, opting to join the smaller city rivals IS Halmia in 2018. This year, he also started playing with a helmet. He trained with several foreign clubs such as Leeds United in 2017 and Hellas Verona in 2018. He represented Sweden in a U17 three-nation tournament, playing against the Czech Republic. Having played for Halmia in Division 2, the fourth tier of Swedish football, Törnqvist was signed by Mjällby AIF ahead of the 2020 season. This was Halmia's largest sale in two decades, since Mikael Roth in 1998. The 2021 season saw Törnqvist loaned out to Superettan club AFC Eskilstuna. Rebecka Törnqvist (born 26 April 1964 in Uppsala, Sweden) is a Swedish jazz and pop vocalist. Her debut album '' A Night like This'' was released in 1993 and sold over 100,000 copies. This was followed by '' Good Thing'' in 1995. Most of the albums by Rebecka Törnqvist are sung in English, with the exception of ''Vad jag vill'' (2001). She helped to increase "interest in young female jazz vocalists in Sweden in the 1990s, though her solo albums weren't pure jazz, but rather pop with heavy jazz influences". Gusten Axel Stefansson Törnqvist (born June 27, 1982) is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender. Playing career Törnqvist played junior hockey for his hometown team Luleå HF. For the 2002–03 season Törnqvist was brought up to Luleå's Elitserien Elitserien (literally, "the Elite League") is the name of several Swedish nationwide sport leagues. In many sports, Elitserien is the highest league, with the second highest named Allsvenskan.
