Tyron Carrier
Tyron North Carrier (born December 19, 1987) is an American football coach who was formerly a wide receiver for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. He played college football at Houston. College career Carrier finished his college career with 320 receptions, which is the second most in NCAA Division I/FBS history. In his career, Carrier returned seven kickoffs for touchdowns, an NCAA FBS record that he shares with Clemson's C. J. Spiller, San Diego State's Rashaad Penny, and Memphis's Tony Pollard. His 7,490 career all-purpose yards ranks sixth all-time. Carrier also holds the FBS record of 53 consecutive games with at least two receptions. Rashaad Penny
Rashaad Armein Penny (born February 2, 1996) is an American football running back for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at San Diego State, where, in 2017, he led the nation with 2,248 rushing yards and scored 23 touchdowns on 289 carries, finishing fifth in the Heisman Trophy voting and garnering first-team All-American and All-Mountain West honors. Penny also caught 19 passes for 135 yards and two scores and scored twice on kickoff returns, averaging 30.6 yards on 17 attempts (ranked fifth in the FBS). The 2011 Houston Cougars football team (also known as the Houston Cougars, Houston, or UH) represented the University of Houston in the 2011 NCAA Division I FBS football season. It was the 66th year of season play for Houston. The program was a member of Conference USA in its West Division. The team was coached by fourth-year head football coach Kevin Sumlin, and played its home games at Robertson Stadium—a 32,000-seat stadium on campus in Houston. After missing a majority of the 2010 season due to injury, starting quarterback Case Keenum had returned for 2011. The Cougars finished the regular season 12–0, setting a new school record for wins. Dana Holgorsen
Dana Carl Holgorsen (born June 21, 1971) is the head football coach at the University of Houston. He was the head coach at West Virginia University from 2011 to 2018. During his coaching career he has served under coaches such as Hal Mumme, Mike Leach, Kevin Sumlin, and Mike Gundy. Coaching career Early career Holgorsen spent time at Valdosta State (1993–95) as the quarterbacks, receivers and special teams coach under head coach Hal Mumme, at Mississippi College (1996–98) as the quarterbacks, receivers and special teams coach and at Wingate (1999) as the quarterbacks and receivers coach.
