Tyrique Bartlett
Tyrique Bartlett (born 14 April 1999) is a South African professional footballer who plays as a forward for Cape Town Spurs. Club career In June 2017, Bartlett joined Newcastle United on a three-year deal after a successful trial. In June 2019, he was released by Newcastle United. In February 2020, he joined National First Division side Cape Umoya United on a free transfer. On 28 February 2020, he made his professional league debut as a substitute in a 2–0 loss to Marumo Gallants. In December 2021, he joined Cape Town Spurs. International career In August 2017, Bartlett was called up to the South Africa U20 squad for the first time. Personal life Bartlett was born in Switzerland. Chêne-Bougeries
Chêne-Bougeries is a municipality in the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland. History Chêne-Bougeries is first mentioned in 1270 as ''Quercus''. In 1801 it was mentioned as ''Chêne-les-Bougeries''. Chêne-Bougeries was inhabited for most of its history, and neither the Romans nor the Genevans settled there. An important concern for the Genevans was the leprosy hospital that occupied part of the commune; it is only when this illness was defeated around the 16th century that Chêne-Bougeries really started to develop. The South Africa national under-20 football team, is a youth football (soccer) team, which represents South Africa and is controlled by the South African Football Association, the governing body for football in South Africa. Shaun Bartlett (born 31 October 1972) is a South African professional Manager (association football), football manager and former Football player, player who is the manager of Cape Town Spurs F.C., Cape Town Spurs. During his playing career, he played as a Striker (association football), striker. Early life Born in Cape Town, Bartlett was raised by his grandmother in Factreton on the Cape Flats. He began playing for his church team and quickly developed a deft striking ability on the field. He was also a talented cricketer. Club career Bartlett began his career with his hometown Cape Town Spurs and then moved to Major League Soccer and the Colorado Rapids in the league's inaugural season in 1996. Halfway through the 1997 season, he was traded to the MetroStars on 10 July. Bartlett left MLS, without leaving much of a mark and returned to his home country. The National First Division (NFD), officially known as the Motsepe Foundation Championship for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest league of South African club association football, football after the South African Premier Division. Both the NFD and South African Premier Division are organised by the Premier Soccer League.
