Tyran Wishart
Tyran Wishart (born 17 November 1999) is an Australian rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Melbourne Storm in the National Rugby League (NRL). Background Wishart is the son of former Illawarra Steelers and St. George Illawarra Dragons er Rod Wishart. He played his junior rugby league for the Gerringong Lions. Wishart was educated at Kiama High School before playing junior representative for the St George Illawarra Dragons. He then signed his first senior contract with Melbourne Storm. Playing career Wishart made his debut in round 1 of the 2022 NRL season for Melbourne Storm against Wests Tigers. He had his jersey (cap 202) presented to him by his father and former Illawarra Steelers player Rod Wishart. Wishart would make 15 appearances for Melbourne during 2022, mostly being used as a utility off the interchange bench. His season was cut short by a syndesmosis injury in round 23. Melbourne Storm
The Melbourne Storm are a rugby league club based in Melbourne, Victoria in Australia that participates in the National Rugby League. The first fully professional rugby league team based in the state, the Storm entered the competition in 1998. The Storm were originally a Super League initiative, created in 1997 during the Super League war, however, following the Super League collapse, the team became a part of the newly formed, united competition. The club play their home games at AAMI Park. The Storm have won four premierships since their inception, in 1999, 2012, 2017 and 2020, and have contested several more grand finals, but were stripped of the 2007 and 2009 premierships following salary cap breaches. The Sydney Roosters are an Australian professional Rugby league, Rugby League Football Club based in the Eastern Suburbs (Sydney) and parts of inner Sydney. The club competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. The Roosters have won fifteen New South Wales Rugby League premiership, New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) and National Rugby League titles, and several other competitions. High Ankle Sprain
A high ankle sprain, also known as a syndesmotic ankle sprain (SAS), is a sprain of the syndesmotic ligaments that connect the tibia and fibula in the lower leg, thereby creating a mortise and tenon joint for the ankle. High ankle sprains are described as high because they are located above the ankle. They comprise approximately 15% of all ankle sprains. Unlike the common lateral ankle sprains, when ligaments around the ankle are injured through an inward twisting, high ankle sprains are caused when the lower leg and foot externally rotates (twists out). Wests Tigers
The Wests Tigers are an Australian professional Rugby league, rugby league football team, based in the Inner West and South West Sydney. They have competed in the National Rugby League since being formed at the end of the 1999 NRL season as a joint-venture club between the Balmain Tigers and the Western Suburbs Magpies. The Wests Tigers started playing in the 2000 NRL season and they won their maiden premiership in 2005 NRL season, 2005.
