Typhoon Usagi (other)
The name Usagi has been used to name four tropical cyclones in the northwestern Pacific Ocean. The name was contributed by Japan and it refers to Rabbit or Japanese name of the constellation Lepus Hares and jackrabbits are mammals belonging to the genus ''Lepus''. Tropical Cyclone
A tropical cyclone is a rapidly rotating storm system characterized by a low-pressure center, a closed low-level atmospheric circulation, strong winds, and a spiral arrangement of thunderstorms that produce heavy rain and squalls.
