Tyler Scott (Canadian Football)
Tyler Scott (born September 21, 1985 in Windsor, Ontario) is a Canadian former wide receiver. He previously played in the Canadian Football League where he last played for the Edmonton Eskimos. He attended the University of Western Ontario as a geography major with an intention to pursue teaching. He was drafted in the 2008 CFL Draft by the Toronto Argonauts. Professional career Scott's first game in the CFL was a pre-season game against the Montreal Alouettes on June 12, 2008, where he had two receptions for 20 yards for the Argonauts. Assistant General Manager Greg Mohns was impressed with his dedication, size, and movement. "He studied the playbook and he has not made a lot of mental mistakes," Mohns said following the first game. "He has a chance to make the final roster." Tyler Scott (born October 12, 2001) is an American football wide receiver for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Cincinnati. Early years Scott was born on October 12, 2001, in Norton, Ohio. He attended Norton High School, where he played basketball and football and was a sprinter on the track team. He played running back for Norton and rushed 243 times for 1,512 yards and scored 27 total touchdowns in his junior season. Scott rushed for 1,337 yards and 21 touchdowns as a senior. He was rated a three-star recruit and committed to play college football at Cincinnati over offers from Indiana, Iowa State, Michigan State, Nebraska, Rutgers, and Syracuse. College career Scott played in ten games during his freshman season and caught three passes for 20 yards and rushed one time for 20 yards.
