Tylertown is a town in Walthall County, Mississippi, United States. It is the county seat of Walthall County. The population was 1,609 at the 2010 census. History The town of Tylertown was first known as the Magee Settlement. It was settled by emigrants of the Magee and Thornhill families, who came from South Carolina. J. Thornhill acquired the first tract of land for the settlement on September 20, 1816, after Native Americans were pushed out of the area. Cullen Conerly went there in 1850 and bought out the Garland Hart store and established a post office which was called Conerly's post office. The store and post office served as the social center of the community for over a half century. The town bore the name Conerly's from 1848 to 1879. It was renamed as Tyler Town in honor of William G. Mesh is a measurement of particle size often used in determining the particle-size distribution of a granular material. For example, a sample from a truckload of peanuts may be placed atop a mesh with 5 mm openings. Tyler Block
The Tyler Block was a three-story building in Louisville, Kentucky best known for its landmark Renaissance Revival limestone facade. It was located on the north side of Jefferson Street between Third and Fourth streets. Built in 1874, it was designed by Henry Wolters and named after owner Levi Tyler. It was razed 100 years later in 1974 to make way for what is now the Kentucky International Convention Center. Many campaigned to have the Tyler Block's facade incorporated into the center, but the new building was instead built in the then fashionable brutalist architecture style. Tylers Green is a village in the civil parish of Chepping Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. The village is adjoined on one side by Hazlemere and on the other by Penn. "Penn and Tylers Green" are often referred to as one. Tylers Green centres on a village green where an annual fête is held. In one corner of the green is a duck pond. Artefacts have been found suggesting habitation in Penn and Tylers Green since the Stone Age. In the 12th Century, the village was known as Garretts Green.
